- Habitat: Swamps, rivers, rice fields, irrigation ponds and lakes.
- Mode of life: Nektobenthic (swimmer).
- Reproductive mode: Males only reported from Thailand (Savatenalinton & Martens, 2010). Elsewhere probably asexual.
- Known distribution: North Gyeongsang and South Gyeongsang Provinces (Chang et al. 2012). Elsewhere, Japan (Smith et al. 2011), China (Sars 1903), Thailand (Savatenalinton & Martens 2010), Indonesia (Tressler 1937) and Sri Lanka (Gurney 1916).
