Habitat: Freshwater pools in two coastal caves (Smith et al. 2014). Elsewhere, reported from the supralittoral zone along the coast, monsoonal salt marsh with brackish groundwater (Schornikov 1969; 1980), and a freshwater lake (Scharf and Keyser 1991).
Mode of life: Benthic/"semi-terrestrial".
Reproduction mode: Sexual.
Known distribution: Jeju Island (Smith et al. 2014). Elsewhere, far-east of Russia (Schornikov 1969, 1980), and France (Scharf and Keyser 1991).
